Pre-Training

I’ve been experiencing knee pain while squatting since I injured my knee last November. It faded a bit, but never went away completely. So in the last few months before my year of power I’ve been working on a few things to help correct my injured knees.

My stride was putting a lot of strain on my knees (I used to walk slightly duck-footed), so I’ve *ahem* taken steps to correct that. Also replaced the worn out insoles in my work boots and running shoes to ensure proper arch support. Finally, I’ve taken some time off heavy leg lifts, and always wear knee braces when I’m working on any lifts from a standing position. Knee pain is receding rapidly, and the joints feel stronger every day.
